4 days moto tour from Errachidia to Merzouga desert
Day 1: Arrival in Errachidia – Ziz Valley Warm-Up Ride (50–80 km)
Arrival in Errachidia. Meet your guide, check the bikes, and enjoy a scenic warm-up ride through the Ziz Valley, dotted with palm groves and kasbahs. Return to your accommodation and prepare for the journey ahead. Overnight in Errachidia.
Day 2: Errachidia → Erfoud → Merzouga (180 km)
Ride south through vast desert landscapes, with stops at Erfoud (famous for fossils) and Rissani, a former imperial town. Reach Merzouga, where the mighty Erg Chebbi dunes rise from the desert floor. Optional camel ride at sunset. Overnight in a desert riad or hotel.
Day 3: Merzouga – Desert Loop Ride (100 km)
A full day off-road around Erg Chebbi. Visit Khamlia (home to Gnawa musicians), nomadic families, M’fis mines, and ride through black desert landscapes. Stop at scenic viewpoints around the dunes. Overnight in a luxury desert camp with traditional dinner and music.
Day 4: Merzouga → Errachidia (200 km)
Ride back to Errachidia, following a different scenic route through small towns and desert plateaus. Return bikes, debrief, and transfer to the airport or hotel. End of tour.
