6 days motorcycle from Errachidia to erg Chebbi dunes Merzouga
Day 1: Arrival in Errachidia – Bike Setup & Warm-Up Ride
Arrive in Errachidia, meet your guide, and get fitted with your motorcycle. After a short safety briefing, take a gentle ride into the Ziz Valley, known for its lush palm groves and kasbahs. Return to Errachidia. Overnight in a traditional guesthouse.
Day 2: Errachidia → Erfoud → Rissani → Merzouga (180 km)
Depart toward the desert, passing through Erfoud, famous for fossil workshops, and then Rissani, a former capital and bustling market town. Reach Merzouga, gateway to the Sahara. Sunset ride to the dunes. Overnight in a charming desert riad.
Day 3: Merzouga – Desert Loop Ride (80–100 km off-road)
Today is all about off-road adventure. Ride around the base of Erg Chebbi, visit Khamlia village to hear Gnawa music, explore nomadic settlements, and reach the mines of M’fis. Enjoy sand riding (optional) and panoramic dune views. Overnight in a luxury desert camp.
Day 4: Merzouga → Taouz → Ramlia → Ouzina (160 km off-road)
A true Sahara experience! Ride south via remote Taouz and along the edge of the Algerian border. Pass dry riverbeds, fossil beds, and tiny desert hamlets to reach Ouzina, a peaceful village surrounded by dunes. Overnight in an off-grid auberge.
Day 5: Ouzina → Jdaid → Erfoud (170 km)
Ride west across stony desert and sandy pistes through Jdaid, rejoining the paved road near Erfoud. Take a detour to visit local ksour (mudbrick fortresses) and return to civilization. Overnight in a kasbah hotel in Erfoud.
Day 6: Erfoud → Errachidia (90 km)
Final ride north through palm groves and the Ziz Gorges, then back to Errachidia. Return your bike, enjoy a farewell lunch, and transfer to the airport or your hotel. End of tour.
