Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Ouarzazate
Upon arrival at Ouarzazate Airport or hotel, meet your guide for a welcome briefing and motorcycle handover. Enjoy free time to explore Ouarzazate’s famous kasbahs or movie studios. Overnight stay in a charming riad or hotel.
Day 2: Ouarzazate – Fint Oasis – Agdz
Begin your ride south towards the hidden Fint Oasis, a lush valley framed by barren mountains. Continue on scenic mountain roads towards Agdz, gateway to the Draa Valley. Visit the historical Kasbah Tamnougalt and relax at a traditional guesthouse surrounded by palm trees.
Day 3: Agdz – Zagora via Draa Valley
Follow the Draa River through endless palm groves and fortified Berber villages. This day offers a combination of asphalt and off-road tracks. Explore ancient ksour (fortified villages) along the way before reaching Zagora, the desert’s doorstep. Dinner and overnight in a cozy lodge.
Day 4: Zagora – Tamegroute – Mhamid
Ride south to Tamegroute to visit its famous Koranic library and green pottery workshops. Continue to Mhamid, the last town before the Sahara opens up. The landscapes become increasingly sandy as you get closer to the desert. Overnight stay in a comfortable kasbah or desert lodge.
Day 5: Mhamid – Chegaga Dunes

Day 6: Chegaga – Lake Iriki – Foum Zguid – Taznakht
After sunrise in the dunes, ride across the dry Lake Iriki and through vast open desert landscapes towards Foum Zguid. After a rest stop, continue to Taznakht, known for its beautiful Berber carpets. Enjoy mountain roads and scenic villages. Overnight in a local riad.
Day 7: Taznakht – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate
On your final riding day, head towards the famous Ait Ben Haddou Ksar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the backdrop for many iconic films. After visiting, ride back to Ouarzazate, completing an unforgettable desert adventure. End of the tour assistance for transfers or extra nights as needed.
