Day 1: Arrival in Agadir
Welcome to Agadir. Airport pickup and transfer to your hotel. Rest or explore the beach promenade. Overnight in Agadir.
Day 2: Agadir → Tafraoute (240 km)
Begin your adventure heading into the Anti-Atlas Mountains. Ride/drive through winding roads to the charming town of Tafraoute, surrounded by granite peaks. Overnight in a mountain lodge.
Day 3: Tafraoute → Tata (220 km)
Travel through dramatic rock formations and remote desert plateaus. Stop at oasis villages and continue to Tata, an ancient Saharan settlement. Overnight in a traditional guesthouse.
Day 4: Tata → Foum Zguid → Erg Chegaga (210 km)
Drive into the heart of the Sahara. After a lunch break in Foum Zguid, go off-road across the dry Iriki Lake to reach the wild dunes of Erg Chegaga. Enjoy sunset, camel ride, and dinner in a desert camp under the stars. Overnight in Chegaga camp.
Day 5: Chegaga → Tamegroute → Zagora → Dades Valley (280 km)
Cross the Draa Valley, visit the ancient library of Tamegroute, and pass Zagora and Nkob. Continue through the Saghro Mountains to reach the scenic Dades Gorge. Overnight in a kasbah hotel.
Day 6: Dades → Todra Gorge → Merzouga (260 km)
Explore the towering Todra Gorge, then head east to the magical dunes of Merzouga (Erg Chebbi). Ride camels to your desert camp and enjoy music and mint tea by the fire. Overnight in Merzouga luxury camp.
Day 7: Merzouga → Erfoud → Alnif → Agdz (280 km)
Watch sunrise over the dunes, then journey west through Erfoud and fossil-rich Alnif, arriving in the palm-fringed town of Agdz, gateway to the Draa Valley. Overnight in a kasbah-style guesthouse.
Day 8: Agdz → Ait Ben Haddou → Ouarzazate (160 km)
Follow the ancient caravan route to Ait Ben Haddou, the UNESCO-listed clay kasbah. Explore the site and continue to Ouarzazate, the film capital of Morocco. Overnight in a riad.
Day 9: Ouarzazate → Taliouine → Taroudant (270 km)
Drive through saffron fields in Taliouine, then reach the charming walled city of Taroudant, known as “Little Marrakech.” Explore the medina and stay overnight in a riad.
Day 10: Taroudant → Agadir (90 km)
